An ancient healing herb
An ancient healing herb

Traditionally used by the Native American Chumash People for medicine, cleansing and purification, white sage is now gaining recognition for its beneficial effects for your skin and hair. The word 'Salvia' comes from the Latin word 'salvare' - to heal!

White sage is a perennial plant native to the southwestern California and northwestern Mexico. It is a member of the vast lamiacae family of 600 plant species that includes so many of the wonderful herbs that we know and love, such as blue sage, clary sage, basil, mint, rosemary and nettle. Its silvery-green leaves are rich in essential oils, which contribute to its distinct fragrance and therapeutic properties.

  • rosmadial

  • carnosol & hydroxycarnosol

This makes it an excellent ingredient for acne-prone skin, as it can help clear breakouts and prevent future occurrences.

Finally, the cleansing and astringent properties of white sage can help remove impurities and excess oil from the skin. Incorporating white sage-infused products into your skincare routine can lead to a healthier complexion.
